KAPU Watershed Conservation Project

114 Million Kilombo dam launched in Kilome

Governor Kivutha Kibwana and Cabinet Administrative Secretary for Agriculture Anne Nyaga on Tuesday flagged off construction works for the rehabilitation of Kilombo earth dam in Kiu/Kalanzoni ward, Kilome sub county.

The 300,942 cubic meters water capacity dam (300.9 million litres) is expected to be complete within six months from the date of launch, and will cost Sh114 million. Read more….
